Class Styles

Class Styles Offered and Descriptions

Prosper Flow

This hatha style class will have you move your body slowly and deliberately into different poses that challenge your strength and flexibility, while at the same time focusing on relaxation and mindfulness. The key to this class is not speed but instead moving with awareness and being truly in tune with your body. This class will allow your practice to prosper and grow in a gentle and mindful way. At the end of each class we offer a calming, restorative savasana to help you reconnect and end the practice in pure bliss. Like all of our classes, this class open to all levels of practice as modifications or intensifications can be added as needed.

Thrive Flow

This Vinyasa Flow class will expand your practice and help you grow as a yogi, as we flow quickly through dynamic poses, linking your movements to your breath from one asana to the next. You will be challenged while transforming your mind, body and soul, to bloom into your strength. Thrive in your life as you push forward towards growth and reach the best version of yourself! At the end of each class we offer a calming, restorative savasana to help you reconnect and end the practice in pure bliss. Like all of our classes, this class open to all levels of practice as modifications or intensifications can be added as needed.

Fire Flow

It's getting hot in here! This vinyasa flow class will take your yoga practice to new heights, challenging your body and mind in new ways as we quickly move from one pose to the next, building on our breath-work and growing in our power. Nurture that fire inside of yourself as you awaken and strengthen your muscles and your mind. The studio is heated to about 85-90 degrees using beneficial heat. At the end of each class we offer a calming, restorative savasana to help you reconnect and end the practice in pure bliss. This class, like all of our classes, is open to all levels of practice as modifications or intensifications can be added as needed.

Yin

Enjoy the feelings of rejuvenation and steadiness that arise from a Yin Yoga practice as you slow down, and engage the body’s natural healing power as you actively nourish and harmonize your vital life force. Reconnect the mind, body and soul as you find new ways to engage your muscles and your mental space. Yin will come with its own challenges as you meet your body in new ways but overall bringing you into a space of total relaxation. At the end of each class we offer a calming, restorative savasana to help you reconnect and end the practice in pure bliss. This class, like all of our classes, is open to all levels of practice as modifications or intensifications can be added as needed.

Yoga Foundations

The foundations class introduces fundamental principles of alignment, and breath work. Students will be introduced to yoga postures through step-by-step verbal description and demonstration. Emphasis is placed on student understanding, safety, and stability within each pose. If you have never tried yoga this class is perfect for you and is designed to meet the needs of those new to yoga as well as those seeking continued understanding of basic yoga poses.

Mellow

Enjoy the feelings of rejuvenation and steadiness that arise from yin yoga as you slow down the body, while adding into the mix the gentle flows of a hatha class. Engage the body’s natural healing power as you actively nourish and harmonize the body; waking the muscles up and expanding your awareness during this Mellow flow. Let’s take things nice and slow and glide as we mix smooth movement and healing stillness. At the end of each class we offer a calming, restorative savasana to help you reconnect and end the practice in pure bliss. This class, like all of our classes, is open to all levels of practice as modifications or intensifications can be added as needed.

Mellow Heat

Enjoy the feelings of rejuvenation and steadiness that arise from yin yoga as you slow down the body, while adding into the mix the flows of a hatha class. Engage the body’s natural healing power as you actively nourish and harmonize the body; waking the muscles up and expanding your awareness during this Mellow flow. Let’s take things nice and slow and glide as we mix smooth movement and healing stillness and add beneficial light heat into the practice, lightly warming the studio. At the end of each class we offer a calming, restorative savasana to help you reconnect and end the practice in pure bliss. This class, like all of our classes, is open to all levels of practice as modifications or intensifications can be added as needed.

Buti Yoga

Buti® Yoga is a soulful blend of traditional asana poses, muscle conditioning, plyometric movements, cardio-intensive tribal dance and deep abdominal toning. This all-in-one movement method tones and sculpts the body while facilitating complete inner transformation. It is practiced to high energy and upbeat music allowing you to free your mind, body, and spirit. Buti® empowers you by stimulating and cleansing the body and chakras – facilitating detoxification on physical, energetic and emotional levels.
This is a physically-demanding sweat session (so remember to HYDRATE!). Yet, it’s approachable for ALL-LEVELS. You’ll begin where you are and grow at your own pace. We encourage you to let loose, have fun, be your full self and allow yourself to be present. Class may range from 60-75 minutes.

Buti Foundations

This Buti® Yoga beginners class takes you through the core movements of what makes Buti so unique and prepares you for a full on Buti flow. A regula Buti Yoga flow is a soulful blend of traditional asana poses, muscle conditioning, plyometric movements, cardio-intensive tribal dance and deep abdominal toning. Prepare for a slowed down version, step by step class, with fun upbeat music and lots of laughs!
Just as in our regular yoga classes, you’ll begin where you are and grow at your own pace. We encourage you to let loose, have fun, be your full self and allow yourself to be present. Class may range from 60-75 minutes.

Pints & Poses

Cheers to you! Come and join us downtown on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month at Black Laboratory Brewing during as we take you through a fun and invigorating vinyasa flow that includes a refreshing craft beer of your choice as we partner with this awesome local brewery. Come on out and start your Sunday morning by enjoying some zen, tasting some local craft beer and exploring the local brunch scene! Class will be outdoors during the warmer months and indoors during the colder months.
Includes 1 alcoholic OR non alcoholic beverage of your choice! Anything else purchased is your responsibility.

Make sure you bring your own mats, bolsters, blocks or any other props you need!

Free Flow

Aligning with one of our core beliefs, that yoga should be accessible to all, we want you to join us for this FREE community yoga class twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month. Allowing you to get a great workout in, firing you up while melting away stress and helping you reconnect with yourself. This class is an all levels of practice class. Whether you’re experienced or have never practiced before, grab your friends and come join us! We'll start of gentle, get through nice and strong and finish off with a calming, restorative savasana to help you reconnect and end the practice in pure bliss.
