Christopher Escobar
Chris’s journey into yoga began almost a decade ago. Yoga found him while he was in a very dark spot in his life; mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. At the beginning, his practice allowed him to process difficult emotions and trauma, calm his mind and thoughts down, open his heart, and connect to an energy much bigger than himself. Today, his practice has continued to grow, just as he does. It is ever evolving. He uses his asana practice as meditation in movement, while incorporating the other seven limbs of yoga into his life off the mat to try to cultivate peace internally wherever he may be. Yoga is more than an hour at a time in a studio to him, it is a way of living. Part of that way of living is being of service to others, helping others grow, and guiding others to be their authentic selves. Outside of the studio, Chris is a part of SerenityStar/Comfort Cafe, a non-profit recovery center. Chris, a person in long term recovery, wishes to help other achieve recovery, just as was done for him. Yoga has helped him on that journey as well. Chris is ready and willing to walk with you, guide you, and teach you on your journey to rediscovering who you truly are. He holds compassion, integrity, and honesty above all else. Chris is a 500 hour RYT and carries the YACEP designation. He can’t wait to see you in the studio!

Jen Michael
When I began practicing yoga almost 20 years ago, I was exploring ways to integrate movement into my life. After starting a family, motherhood brought me back to my mat as a way to find stress relief. Now, yoga has become a way of life, a path towards returning to my true Self. A teacher at heart, sharing the gift of yoga with others has become an integral part of daily living. Since earning my RYT 200 in 2016 and RYT 500 in 2020, I’ve found deep gratitude in being able to guide students towards discovering the power of breath, the joy of movement, and the peace that comes with finding connection within yourself. After feeling led to the path of reiki, I decided to expand my knowledge to energy healing and how I could offer that to others. I have the utmost gratitude that I am able to share these practices with you, and am excited for the opportunity to connect! Outside of the studio you can find me running trails, paddling on the water, soaking up the sun, and enJOYing life with my husband, four kids, and fur babies.

Kimberly Turner
My name is Kimberly Turner. I’m a mommy, wife and curious human. In addition to teaching yoga, I’m a personal trainer, doula and I run a baking business. I found yoga in college during a difficult time in my life. As a lifelong athlete I was drawn to the movement aspect but while taking a yoga class for college credit I started to find the mental and emotional benefits of the practice as well. I was hooked and there was no turning back! It wasn’t until several years later after college that I decided I wanted to take it a step further and take a yoga teacher training. As a health and fitness professional I was well versed in helping people with their physical health but we were still missing something, their mental and emotional well-being. Adding yoga has helped me to take a wholistic approach helping clients become their healthiest and happiest selves. It’s brings me so much joy to share this wonderful practice with those around me!

Surya Kalidindi
I'm Surya Kalidindi, born and lived in India until my graduation, travelled to Australia for master’s degree, and then moved to US for work. Ever since 2010, I was living here in San Antonio with my wife and daughter and feels like this is our home.Looking back, Yoga came into my life around 6 years ago as a surprise. A gift my body and soul needed at that point, but mind would never understand the meaning of it. Yoga mat has shown me how energetic and pleasant the body naturally feels when it's in a relaxed state. This is when I understood the meaning of therapy/healing and made my mind to commit my time to dive into this beautiful ocean called human body. The human being can find immense joy and success only when he understands how to utilize the mother nature’s gift called ‘awareness’ to connect body, mind, and spirit. And through my yoga teaching, I want to share my understanding of awareness and its power for creating a simple and beautiful life.I received my RYT 200 hour from 'Esther vexler Yoga school' (local non-profit org) and have completed my RYT 300 hour from 'The Hard and the Soft' yoga institute.

Allie Salman
I got into yoga over 10 years ago because I was looking for something to help me cope with my mother being diagnosed with breast cancer. I was expecting it to be similar to pilates, however I was wrong. Yoga was so much more than a workout for my physical body, but it helped work out my mind and my soul on a deep level, which was exactly what I needed. Yoga has become a big part of my life ever since then. Yoga touches multiple aspects of the mind, body, and spirit and It allows you to learn so much about yourself. I hope to teach my students that yoga is way more than what you can do on your mat, or how the practice makes your body feel, but how you can take what you learn on your mat into the real world to live better. I am also an Occupational Therapist and a level III Reiki Master who uses my knowledge to help people come into alignment with their body, mind, and soul.

Leianna Rich
As a multi extracurricular athlete from youth throughout college, Leianna has always had an appreciation of body movement. This appreciation led her to deepen her knowledge & to receive a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology.
Leianna began practicing yoga here and there, realizing there was more depth she aspired to discover. More depth, more solitude, more understanding. To Leianna, yoga has taught her that it’s not about being good at something, it’s about being good to yourself. Yoga is an art, let your mat be the canvas!
Outside of yoga, you can find her spending quality time with her significant other and their pups. Whether it’s an adventure to a local park, spending time in their garden, eating take-out Chinese food, painting or simply soaking up some sunshine…it’s about enjoying the little things.

Thomas Brown
Like many people I came to yoga looking for one thing and finding all the rest by divine design. I had a major injury and I pretty much gave up on fitness for a few years. I heard yoga was tough, so when I finally started working out again, I thought it would be a good barometer for my rehab progress. What I discovered is that yoga is more than just moving your body and clearing your mind in a studio for a few hours a week, it is a lifestyle that is designed to help us get the most out of life’s experience. My goal as a teacher is to create the space for us to heal ourselves and one another through somatic connection and mindfulness.
I have always been kind of a super nerd, so when I discovered that Yoga had eight limbs, I felt called to investigate and explore all that yoga is and has to offer. What I discovered is a better overall perception and therefore a better life experience every day. It also helped me to deal with the unresolved things in my past, which has allowed me to become a better human being in the present. I often try to find a way to incorporate these many different principles into our classes, and that is one of the main focuses during our time in class. I spent a lot of time in my youth punishing my body and it feels like societally, we do the same with our day-to-day everyday. My classes are mostly curated to allow us the opportunity to celebrate the human experience (aka HAVE FUN), and the things that our minds and bodies are capable of, while also pushing ourselves beyond our perceived limitations.

Carrie Fletcher
I was born and raised in Ohio. I relocated to San Antonio with family in the military and put down Texas roots upon meeting my native San Antonio-an husband. I am a teacher at heart and spent most of my professional life as an educator in many classrooms - from corporate to middle school. I discovered yoga as a recent college graduate. For a long time, it was something I did to supplement other types of exercise or to de-stress after a long week. Today, yoga isn’t just an add-on. It’s a fixed event on my daily agenda. I believe time on the mat means better time off the mat. I love to combine accessible sequencing, great music and a splash of inspiration to help you find your innate strength and peace. I believe if you can breathe, you can do yoga. I can’t wait to meet you on the mat. Namaste!

My yoga journey began while I was in college and took a class out of curiosity. I was hooked and have now been practicing for over 10+ years. Anxiety is something I have dealt with for most of my life and yoga has helped me navigate a calmer mindset and be more present during my everyday life. I was excited to start teaching when I received my 200 hr RYT back in 2017. My favorite thing about teaching yoga is the fact that it can change your mindset of what you are capable of doing on and off the mat.Yoga can be playful, challenging, positive and peaceful. I want my students to be their most authentic selves during class and leave feeling empowered. I am a San Antonio native and I love being out in nature, traveling, music and checking out local coffee shops.
