Christopher Escobar
Chris’s journey into yoga began almost a decade ago. Yoga found him while he was in a very dark spot in his life; mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. At the beginning, his practice allowed him to process difficult emotions and trauma, calm his mind and thoughts down, open his heart, and connect to an energy much bigger than himself. Today, his practice has continued to grow, just as he does. It is ever evolving. He uses his asana practice as meditation in movement, while incorporating the other seven limbs of yoga into his life off the mat to try to cultivate peace internally wherever he may be. Yoga is more than an hour at a time in a studio to him, it is a way of living. Part of that way of living is being of service to others, helping others grow, and guiding others to be their authentic selves. Outside of the studio, Chris is a part of SerenityStar/Comfort Cafe, a non-profit recovery center. Chris, a person in long term recovery, wishes to help other achieve recovery, just as was done for him. Yoga has helped him on that journey as well. Chris is ready and willing to walk with you, guide you, and teach you on your journey to rediscovering who you truly are. He holds compassion, integrity, and honesty above all else. Chris is a 500 hour RYT and carries the YACEP designation. He can’t wait to see you in the studio!

Jen Michael
When I began practicing yoga almost 20 years ago, I was exploring ways to integrate movement into my life. After starting a family, motherhood brought me back to my mat as a way to find stress relief. Now, yoga has become a way of life, a path towards returning to my true Self. A teacher at heart, sharing the gift of yoga with others has become an integral part of daily living. Since earning my RYT 200 in 2016 and RYT 500 in 2020, I’ve found deep gratitude in being able to guide students towards discovering the power of breath, the joy of movement, and the peace that comes with finding connection within yourself. After feeling led to the path of reiki, I decided to expand my knowledge to energy healing and how I could offer that to others. I have the utmost gratitude that I am able to share these practices with you, and am excited for the opportunity to connect! Outside of the studio you can find me running trails, paddling on the water, soaking up the sun, and enJOYing life with my husband, four kids, and fur babies.
Reiki Practitioner
Gina Love
Gina’s journey to intuitive healing began at the age of seven healing her own chakras in the back of her mom’s car on long trips. This path was always inevitable yet one she repressed for years, reflected in her attempts at career choices in industries such as accounting, auditing and retail management. Her experience in these industries were a catalyst to a wakeup call. The remedies to the psychological, emotional and energetic blocks embedded in structures of our world are a lot simpler than we are being taught. Therefore, she must teach by example and hold space for others to grow into their own divinity. Whether it's through reiki or emotional chakra clearing sessions Gina's profound connection to her spirit council and source energy, coupled with her logical approach to healing leaves clients feeling more deeply attuned to their own light and empowered for the next leg of their journey.
Gina is also a self-proclaimed junkie for the human experience. This manifests as passions for neural reprogramming, biohacking and advocacy for making spiritual practices palatable for all stages of an awakening.

Surya Kalidindi
I'm Surya Kalidindi, born and lived in India until my graduation, travelled to Australia for master’s degree, and then moved to US for work. Ever since 2010, I was living here in San Antonio with my wife and daughter and feels like this is our home.Looking back, Yoga came into my life around 6 years ago as a surprise. A gift my body and soul needed at that point, but mind would never understand the meaning of it. Yoga mat has shown me how energetic and pleasant the body naturally feels when it's in a relaxed state. This is when I understood the meaning of therapy/healing and made my mind to commit my time to dive into this beautiful ocean called human body. The human being can find immense joy and success only when he understands how to utilize the mother nature’s gift called ‘awareness’ to connect body, mind, and spirit. And through my yoga teaching, I want to share my understanding of awareness and its power for creating a simple and beautiful life.I received my RYT 200 hour from 'Esther vexler Yoga school' (local non-profit org) and have completed my RYT 300 hour from 'The Hard and the Soft' yoga institute.

Leianna Rich
As a multi extracurricular athlete from youth throughout college, Leianna has always had an appreciation of body movement. This appreciation led her to deepen her knowledge & to receive a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology.
Leianna began practicing yoga here and there, realizing there was more depth she aspired to discover. More depth, more solitude, more understanding. To Leianna, yoga has taught her that it’s not about being good at something, it’s about being good to yourself. Yoga is an art, let your mat be the canvas!
Outside of yoga, you can find her spending quality time with her significant other and their pups. Whether it’s an adventure to a local park, spending time in their garden, eating take-out Chinese food, painting or simply soaking up some sunshine…it’s about enjoying the little things.

Vanessa Acosta
My yoga journey began while I was in college and took a class out of curiosity. I was hooked and have now been practicing for over 10+ years. Anxiety is something I have dealt with for most of my life and yoga has helped me navigate a calmer mindset and be more present during my everyday life. I was excited to start teaching when I received my 200 hr RYT back in 2017. My favorite thing about teaching yoga is the fact that it can change your mindset of what you are capable of doing on and off the mat.Yoga can be playful, challenging, positive and peaceful. I want my students to be their most authentic selves during class and leave feeling empowered. I am a San Antonio native and I love being out in nature, traveling, music and checking out local coffee shops.

Karen Brenner
"I am who I am,” and “I am that”- borrowing quotes from two great masters, sums life up for me. I had a skillful introduction to Hatha Yoga in high school. I discovered physical and mental peace that comes with breath and movement. This foundation has helped me up & over & through much of life’s challenges & disappointments, however this same foundation has also helped me embrace joy, accept happiness & appreciate balance. I have grown through jobs, careers, in leadership roles, raising a family & forging an enduring marriage. My yoga journey has brought me to an on-going understanding of my authentic self. At the core of my journey is love, compassion & contentment of spirit.
I completed teacher training recently here in San Antonio. I enjoy sharing the practice of yoga. I meditate. I am trauma informed (certification pending). I am trained in Yin style yoga & Chakra work. I am curious about sound & vibrational therapy, and every so often, I get into an energetic flow to rock & roll!

Jenny Thomson
Jenny is passionate about teaching and practicing yoga! She began practicing yoga in the 1990’s. After 2 years of practicing at least 5 times a week she had a revelatory experience in savasana. It was the first time she could remember have her mind quiet at the same time as her body! This experience fueled her desire to become a yoga teacher to be able to share the transformational experience that practicing yoga can bring into her student's lives. Because she was a busy mom of 6, hobby farmer with gardens, cows, chickens, pigs and various pets, and wife of an obstetrician, it took several years before she found time to pursue the dream of becoming a yoga teacher.
Outside of yoga, Jenny loves plants, gardening, travelling and spending time with her family and reading books of all kinds.
In 2016 she completed her 200 hour certification with LifePower Yoga. Jenny has a degree in Human Biology from Stanford University and completed her 300 hour certification with Jonny Kest and is now an E-RYT 500 and YACEP. She loves teaching and seeing her students learn and grow physically, mentally and spiritually through their practice. She continues as a student of yoga herself, regularly attending classes, studying various aspects of yoga.

Lucas Lovelace
Hey everyone! I'm Lucas. My yoga journey began about 11 years ago here in San Antonio. Yoga has been a therapy for me, after a knee injury I found myself in constant pain. Yoga has been the only way to alleviate pain, which is now nonexistent! I obtained my 200HR YTT and Reiki Level 1 certificates from the Synergy Studio and continued my education and obtained an additional 200 HR certificate from My Vinyasa Practice in Austin. Yoga is transformative and heals the mind, body and soul.
As a yoga instructor, my goal is to provide a safe place for you to feel comfortable and most importantly, a safe practice.
Fun facts about me: San Antonio Native, I am addicted to gardening, love to travel and I teach history.

ZZ Ward
My name is ZZ, and I am a yoga teacher and artist. I began practicing yoga with my mother when I was 12 years old. I have beautiful memories of savasana at this age, in which I would envision, in my mind’s eye, a zoomed-out perspective of our earth spinning on its axis. I try to bring yoga, in its literal definition - to yoke, or to unite with the divine - into every aspect of my waking (and sleeping!) life. Yoga
allows me to meet myself at the level of my soul, and I hope to share the potential of yoga as a means of self realization with my students.
